March 15th

I know I’ve been busy lately and haven’t really ‘done’ anything artistic, I just wanted to come out and say that I got a freelance artist job for a facebook game. I obviously at this moment in time can’t show you what I’m doing to do with the project. But once things are done then I’ll let you know.

Though I did do these for the interview, I had to create some chicks and out of the ones they liked I expanded on them.

Also finished the sketch for Jez's birthday picture.

Long time no see

I haven't posted anything or even drawn anything for ages.

Anyway it's was my best friends birthday on the Thursday (10th March) She knows her present is late, but this is the beginning sketch of her present. I'm rather pleased with it so far. I've been having trouble drawing people laying on their backs. Long story and many attempts so this is a sigh of relief for me. Hopefully will finish the sketch later today c:

Year 1 Semester 2

So Christmas is well and truly over; which is sad, because everything is back to normal now.

I start Semester 2 on the 24th of January, but until then I have 3 exams woo.

I know it's not that many, but two of them are really hard.

13th Jan - Introduction into 3D Animation; Basically asking questions about the history of animation and mostly Maya.

19th Jan - Technical Fundamentals; Which I consider to be the hardest, because even though I went to every lecture and took loads of notes, I still don't think I get it. And it is made worse by a class of morons who just sit and talk all the way through the lecture it is irritating. -Extra Revision for this needed-

21st Jan - Photoshop exam; Probably the easiest I have to edit a picture in Photoshop. I'm quite familar with the program, I'm just a tiny bit worried because it is CS5 that we use in Uni and I have CS2 I know they are vaguely the same but CS5 has more things, but I shouldn't have much of a problem with that test.

Then 24th Comes around and I have my new schedule; History of Games, Character design and Animation, which I might add I'm really looking forward to. And some other things I can't remember but I'm doing less days than Semester 1 which is always good.

So yea Year 1 and almost half way through it. c: I'll be a game designer yet!
